How Job Descriptions Work in Enforcium

A Job Description is a detailed description attached to a Position in the organization. It can contain responsibilities, expectations, qualification requirements, working guidelines, and other information relevant to the role.

The content is created using a rich text editor, so you can structure the description and add formatting or links where useful.

A clear Job Description gives employees a practical understanding of their role. It can also provide managers with a consistent reference when defining responsibilities across the organization.

Consider organizing the content around areas such as:

  • role responsibilities;
  • key expectations;
  • required skills and qualifications;

How Job Descriptions connect to processes

Job Descriptions become especially useful when they are connected to Processes.

When a Position is assigned as responsible for an Action Step, the related process appears under Linked Processes in the Job Description. Employees can expand a process to see the specific Action Steps associated with their Position.

This creates a direct connection between organizational role definitions and operational work. An employee can open their Job Description and see the processes their Position contributes to, along with the relevant steps.

How Linked Processes are displayed

The Linked Processes section shows the processes that include Action Steps assigned to the Position.

Each process can be expanded using the control on the right. When expanded, the connected Step is displayed underneath the process name.

You can also use the Open Process action to access the full process and review its complete structure.
